Lark Lee was born in Korea in the 80s and migrated to Australia when she was in her 20s. She fell in love with the country and settled down and has a beautiful daughter. She has been a film and TV fan all her life and believes films impact this world. She wants to influence this world positively giving hope to people through her work. She loves collaborating with like-minded, respectful and enthusiastic filmmakers.

Lark Lee is a Korean migrant mum, writer, director and producer who loves entertaining audiences with captivating stories and visually appealing films.

Lark received a year-long sponsorship by SBS for the Screen Producers Australia Practitioner Program in 2025. Production funded by Screen Australia, she produced and directed (one episode) a high-quality web series, Deserted, with Moving Floor Entertainment. The show was released on ‘The One Shu’ YouTube channel with eight million followers and has nearly half a million total views across all episodes. Her proof-of-concept horror short film, Street No. 4, screened at multiple Academy Award-qualifying festivals and won various awards from other international festivals. The film was distributed on ‘ALTER’, a well-known YouTube horror short film channel, with over 3.6 million subscribers. Lark wrote, directed and produced two seasons of the heart-warming documentary web series, Mother’s Table, covering inter-generational Asian family stories behind the restaurants for the BrisAsia Festival (2022 – 2023) hosted by the Brisbane City Council. Season one streamed on SBS on Demand.
