Written and Directed by Lark Lee and produced by Sounds Across Oceans for Brisbane City Council’s BrisAsia Festival 2022 and 2023.

Episode 1: Mamaku Street Food
An Indonesian immigrant who always put her family first recounts her food business journey and the huge debt they had to take on from the previously sublet restaurant owners.
Episode 2: Taro’s Ramen
A ramen-mad Japanese immigrant tells his story about opening his ramen restaurant without knowing that passion for food wasn’t all that was required to run a business.
Episode 3: Café O-Mai
An obedient daughter of a Vietnamese refugee talks about her old dream of opening a quaint café that went against her mother’s traditional expectations.
Mother's Table (2023) Season 2
Episode 1: Tuk Tuk Restaurant & Bar
Dutiful daughter, Mutita, talks about helping her mum cook from a young age in a small farming village in Northeastern Thailand and moving to Australia to help her sister with 'Tuk Tuk Restaurant & Bar' in Milton, Brisbane. She ends up owning the restaurant, which was literally a dream come true.
Episode 2: The Charcoal BBQ House
Sangdeok, who dreamt of being a head chef from a young age, talks about following his parents' legacy in running a Korean BBQ restaurant with Woncheon, his brotherly business partner of 'The Charcoal BBQ House' in Runcorn, Brisbane.
Episode 3: Curry n' Cask
Gurinder, who developed a passion for food from childhood, talks about his non-traditional love marriage within Indian culture and other obstacles they faced before immigrating to Brisbane. Here, they started a delightfully romantic Indian restaurant called 'Curry n' Cask' in Corinda followed by Fortitude Valley.
